Audi expands its Q8 model series with two new high-performance cars – the RS Q8 with an output of 441 kW (600 PS) and the RS Q8 performance with an increased output of 471 kW (640 PS). These two additions mark the most potent series-produced combustive models of Audi Sport GmbH to date. The models are distinguished by the optimum driving dynamics and everyday usability. Moreover, the cost starts at 141,900 euros for the RS Q8 and 155,700 euros for the RS Q8 performance. The new models will be available from June this year.

The new RS Q8 and RS Q8 performance models sport an aggressive front apron with large air intakes and a distinctive honeycomb structure. The RS Q8 performance comes in matte gray elements, while the RS Q8 comprises high-gloss black details. Both the RS Q8 & the RS Q8 Performance comprise a reinterpreted single frame with a three-dimensional honeycomb pattern. The design at the rear includes two oval tailpipes and a central diffuser that is divided by a reflector which refers to their RS line.

The RS Q8 generates 441 kW (600 PS) and 800 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Moreover, with optional packages, the top speed can be enhanced from the standard 250 km/h to 280 km/h or even 305 km/h. On the other hand, RS Q8 performance generates 471 kW (640 PS) and 850 Nm of torque and it gets from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. Further, for enhanced performance and sportier sound, it features a newly developed, lighter exhaust system.
Advanced Driving Dynamics
As a standard feature, permanent quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission are available in both models. The self-locking center differential ensures precise power distribution, enhancing cornering and reducing understeer. Further, balancing comfort and sportiness is the adaptive air suspension sport, with controlled damping, adjusting the ride height by up to 90 millimeters for a balance of sportiness and comfort.

Suspension and Handling
The optional electromechanical active roll stabilization (eAWS) minimizes lateral body movement, improving stability during cornering. A dynamic package plus option boosts the top speed to 305 km/h and includes eAWS, a quattro sport differential, and an RS ceramic braking system, which comes standard on the RS Q8 performance.
Lighting and Technology
Further, the Matrix LED headlights shall be available in both models, whereas the HD Matrix LED and Audi laser light shall be available as an option. Moreover, the RS Q8 performance also includes digital OLED rear lights with proximity indication for enhanced safety. The interior offers customizable RS design packages in red, gray, or blue, with the blue package exclusive to the RS Q8 performance.

The upgraded RS Q8 starts at 141,900 euros, while the RS Q8 performance begins at 155,700 euros. Booking for both variants shall commence from June 27, 2024, on Audi’s official website & Audi dealership.
