Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, formerly known as the Indian Auto Expo. This is one of those significant event in the Indian automotive industry. The exhibition allows an automotive manufacturer to showcase their current offerings and plans for the future of the Indian auto sector.
With India revolutionising towards EVs, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 primarily showcased EVs, surprisingly no internal combustion engine (ICE) cars debuted or launched at this event. The Expo achieved a milestone by hosting over 1,500 brands, making it the largest automotive exhibition ever held in India. And a footfall of over 9,83,522 visitors.

Vinfast company entry
Vinfast, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer showcased their cars and marked their entry into the Indian automotive market with the mid-size EV VF7 and VF6 SUVs at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. These SUVs will potentially follow the Mahindra BE 6, XEV 7E, Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv, and Harrier EV segments, all following the ₹25 Lakh price tag.
Moreover, the automaker announced plans to manufacture these SUVs at its facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Moreover, Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated the possibility of introducing the electric truck segment if the initial response proves successful.
Hyundai Creta EV displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
Since its first launch in 2015, the Creta with the diesel powertrain has seen some good days in the past. Following the Renault Duster’s segment, the Hyundai Creta leads the compact SUV segment. With this reach, now Hyundai has grown its game with the launch of the all-new Hyundai Creta EV.
The Hyundai Creta EV uses the same platform as the Hyundai Creta but now stacks in a battery pack. Hyundai has launched the Creta EV at ₹17.99 Lakhs and with this price tag it competes with the Mahindra BE 6, and Mahindra XEV 9e.
Technically the Creta EV is powered by 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery options with ranges of 390km and 473km, respectively. With the large battery pack, the Creta EV produces 171hp and 255Nm of maximum torque.
MG Cyberster from MG Select at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
MG has been in the Indian market for quite a long now and they are pretty much doing well in the EV background. With their strength in manufacturing EVs, MG introduced the all-new Cyberster. According to MG, the Cyberster targets customers who are willing to have a sportscar in their garage.
The MG Cyberster is available under the MG Select brand, which the company announced as its luxury brand. The MG Cyberster will be fully imported and will be offered in the top-spec variant with a 77 kWh battery pack mated to an AWD setup.
Talking about the performance, the Cyberster chunks out a maximum power of 510hp and 725Nm of torque. The estimated price tag it will carry is at around ₹1.0cr ex. showroom.
Maruti Suzuki’s all-new first EV in India, e-Vitara revealed
Maruti Suzuki had successfully revealed its all-new fully electric compact SUV, the e-Vitara at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Unlike the Creta EV, the e-Vitara uses a new platform named Heartect-e. The production of the e-Vitara will take place in a few months. The e-Vitara competes with the Hyundai Creta EV and the MG Windsor EV.
The car is powered by two battery pack options that includes a smaller 49kWh and a 61kWh that will give a maximum range up to 500kms. In terms of power, with 49kWh it chunks out 143hp and with the larger 61kWh battery it gives 173hp and 192nm of maximum torque in both the options. It is expected to launch at the price of ₹18 – 25 Lakh price range.
Vayve Eva, Solar Powered Quadricycle
Vayve Mobility has launched its first product, the Eva at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Remember the Bajaj Qute? Yes, it falls in the same segment. The India quadricycle segment offers just two options including the Eva and the Bajaj Quote. The Bajaj Qute primarily serves commercial use, while the Eva might attract personal users.
Eva stands out with the fact that it can be charged by the solar panel. With this potential, the company stated that the solar roof can regenerate up to 3,000 kilometres of free charging annually, covering 30% of typical urban driving needs. The Eva will share its power with three battery packs, 9 kWh, 12 kWh, and 18 kWh.
The vehicle returns a maximum range of 250 kilometres per charge, according to the company. Vavye Mobility has launched the Eva at ₹3.25 lakh, with prices going up to ₹5.99 lakh. Pre-bookings for the EV have started at ₹5,000 for deliveries scheduled in the second half of 2026.

Hyundai & TVS partnership for E-Rickshaws
Hyundai and TVS were rumoured to be in talks for e3Ws. They finally revealed the e-rikshaw alongside an e4W at the Bharat Mobility Expo. TVS will manufacture both vehicles while Hyundai will carry the design credits.
Under this partnership, customers can expect better quality materials and better space as these are slightly bigger, thanks to the flat panels and the boxy design. Key highlights of these EVs are the design, seatbelt for the driver and a fully digital instrument cluster. However, they have yet to reveal the price, but reports suggest they will set it competitively compared to other E3Ws.
