Harley-Davidson is stepping into a new racing chapter the bagger racing. In partnership with MotoGP, the brand will debut a global racing series in 2026, showcasing high-performance Road Glide® bagger motorcycles. The competition will span 12 races across six major MotoGP weekends in Europe and North America.
Two races will occur at each round, giving fans double the excitement. Further, these events aim to deliver a fresh twist to motorcycle racing by blending Harley’s traditional muscle with modern track-ready technology.
Harley-Davidson bagger racing 2026 -Powerful Bikes, Equal Ground
All the motorcycles used in the series will be engineered by Harley-Davidson Factory® Racing. Each bike will weigh around 280 kg (617 lbs) and pack more than 200 horsepower. They’ll produce 245 Nm (180 lb-ft) of torque and are expected to exceed 300 km/h (186 mph) in top speed.
The series will feature spec bikes—every machine will be identical. This format levels the field and puts a spotlight on rider talent and team strategy rather than technical advantages.
Global Grid, Factory Support
The grid will feature six to eight teams, each with two riders. Harley-Davidson will back all competitors through direct factory involvement. Further, this approach ensures a consistent and competitive standard across the championship.
