This combination provides a broader field of view and enhances the system’s ability to handle complex situations, such as detecting pedestrians in low visibility or navigating intersections.
Advanced Safety Features Impress
The Macan’s safety features include:
- Emergency Brake Assist: This system processes multiple data streams to prevent collisions. Euro NCAP praised its performance, noting successful collision avoidance in various tests.
- Exit Warning System: This feature alerts passengers to approaching road users, such as cyclists, and delays door opening to prevent accidents.
