The company first introduced seamless home and private charging solutions and later launched public charging stations in high-adoption cities. Today, with over 200,000 EV sales and 5 billion kilometers driven, TATA.ev is taking the next big step.

In 2023, TATA.ev introduced its ‘Open Collaboration’ framework, partnering with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to expand the charging ecosystem. This initiative helped India surpass 18,000 public chargers in just 15 months. Now, with ‘Open Collaboration 2.0,’ TATA.ev aims to accelerate this growth by increasing public, community, and home chargers significantly.

30,000 New Public Charging Points Coming Soon

TATA.ev is working with key CPOs to install 30,000 new public charging points, supporting all EV brands. This expansion will create a seamless and accessible charging network across cities and highways. The company’s goal is to fast-track India’s shift to sustainable, emission-free mobility.

Introducing TATA.ev Mega Chargers

As part of this initiative, TATA.ev is rolling out ‘TATA.ev Mega Chargers,’ ensuring superfast charging and enhanced reliability. The company has signed MOUs with Tata Power, ChargeZone, Statiq, and Zeon to deploy 500 Mega Chargers in key cities and highways. These chargers will be open to all EVs, but TATA.ev customers will get priority access and special tariffs.

Simplifying EV Charging for All

To enhance the user experience, TATA.ev is introducing:

  • TATA.ev Verified Chargers to ensure quality infrastructure.
  • A Unified Charging Helpline for customer support.
  • Seamless Payment Solutions via the IRA.ev app, allowing users to track and pay for Mega Charger services easily.
