Performance and Range of BMW CE 04
The BMW CE 04’s innovative electric drive, with a liquid-cooled electric motor, delivers a maximum output of 42 hp (31 kW). The permanent magnet electric motor, mounted in the frame between the battery and the rear wheel, provides instant acceleration from 0 to 50 km/hr in just 2.6 seconds. The scooter’s maximum speed is 120 km/hr, making it suitable for city commutes and highway sections.
Moreover, the CE 04 comprises of lithium-ion battery, with a net capacity of 8.5 kWh. Further, generating a range of 130 km and an energy consumption of 7.7 kWh/100 km. As a complimentary feature BMW Motorrad offers a 2.3 kW home charger, that charges from 0 to 80% in 3hrs 30 mins . However, a BMW Wallbox charger shall be available as an optional feature.
Advanced Features and Options
The BMW CE 04 features directionally stable suspension with a one-piece tubular steel main frame for smooth handling and high ride comfort. The double disc brake at the front ensures reliable deceleration, assisted by the single disc brake at the rear. Adding to the safety feature is the BMW Motorrad Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Automatic Stability Control (ASC). Moreover, ECO, Rain, and Road are the 3 modes that the BMW CE 04 shall be available.
