Toyota Supra: Introducing the A90 Final Edition

Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) announced the latest updates for the legendary Supra. A unique limited edition known as the “A90 Final Edition” and a 3.0-liter vehicle that has been largely upgraded are included in the announcement.
Further, there will be only 300 units of the special edition available, with sales beginning in spring 2025 in Japan and Europe.

Supra’s Legacy

Since its debut in 1978, the Supra has thrilled enthusiasts with its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout powered by an in-line six-cylinder engine. It has a rich motorsport history, including Super GT and global racing events with the GR Supra GT4. Moreover, after a 17-year break, the Supra made a grand comeback in 2019, driven by Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda’s passion.

Updates to the Supra (3.0-litre)

The new Toyota Supra enhances the driving experience with key upgrades:

  • Improved Brakes: Larger Brembo front discs for better stopping power.
  • Tuned Suspension: Revised shock absorbers, stronger stabilizers, and updated camber angles for sharper handling.
  • Aerodynamics: A carbon-fibre ducktail spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and tire spats enhance stability and downforce.
  • Interior: Alcantara and leather seats with red accents add a sporty flair.

    Moreover, these updates promise better performance on city streets, winding roads, and tracks.

The A90 Final Edition

The “A90 Final Edition” is the ultimate Toyota Supra. Especially, its designed to honor fans and motorsport teams, it combines high performance with exclusive styling.

Performance Upgrades:

  • Engine: Output boosted to 435 PS and 570 Nm of torque, thanks to revised intakes, a low-back-pressure catalyst, and optimized engine controls.
  • Brakes: 19-inch Brembo brakes with high-friction pads and stainless steel mesh hoses.
  • Suspension: Adjustable KW dampers with 16 rebound and 12 compression settings.

  • Exterior: A carbon-fiber swan-neck rear wing and front canards improve balance and downforce.

  • Interior: RECARO carbon-fiber bucket seats and Alcantara finishes.

The Future of Supra

Production of the current Supra ends with the “A90 Final Edition.” However, TGR will continue refining the Supra through motorsports, ensuring its legacy of high performance and driving joy lives on.
