Chevrolet Returns with the Pink Corvette Stingray for a Cause

Chevrolet is showing its commitment to fighting breast cancer with the return of the Pink Corvette Stingray as the official pace car for the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series races at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway. Chevrolet completes 15 years of partnership with the American Cancer Society, supporting its “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” program.

Todd Christensen, Director of Motorsports Marketing & Activation at Chevrolet, said, “Chevrolet stands with the American Cancer Society’s efforts to end breast cancer. When the pink Chevrolet Corvette Stingray pace car leads the NASCAR Cup Series field, we hope fans will join us in raising funds for ACS by participating in events across the US this October.”

Pink Corvette Stingray Leads the Charge

The Pink Corvette Stingray will help drive donations for the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative. For every caution lap completed during the Talladega and Martinsville NASCAR Cup Series races, Chevrolet will donate $500, up to $25,000.

This year, Chevrolet added another way to give back. For every Team Chevy driver who finishes in the top 10 in either race. Moreover, Chevrolet will donate an additional $1,500, up to another $25,000.

Continuing the Legacy

In 2024, 54 caution laps across the two events raised $18,900 for the American Cancer Society. Last year’s pink Chevrolet Camaro SS pace car will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction on October 17. Moreover, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the organization.

The 2025 campaign begins with the Pink Corvette Stingray debuting at Talladega Superspeedway. For the NASCAR Cup Series YellaWood 500 on Sunday, October 19 the penultimate race of the Round of Eight.
