The Indian Superbike League Qualifiers drew riders from across categories—Pro, Amateur, Female, and Rookie. The overwhelming response reflects the growing appetite for structured, competitive racing in India.

More Than Just Speed

Unlike traditional racing selections, the Indian Superbike League Qualifiers assessed riders on multiple factors including fitness, riding technique, prior racing experience, discipline off the track, and personality. The aim is to develop complete athletes capable of competing at international levels.

One of the standout highlights came during the Chennai round of the ISBL Qualifiers, where Ducati was introduced on track. For many riders, it was their first taste of world-class racing machines—underscoring ISBL’s commitment to raising standards in Indian motorsport.

ISBL’s Broader Vision

Pranav Bakre, Director at ISBL, said, “The response has far exceeded our expectations.” “What we’ve uncovered is an extraordinary reservoir of Indian talent that was waiting for the right stage. We’re building not just a league but a culture where speed, discipline, and sportsmanship come together.”

The ISBL envisions more than just racing weekends. It aims to build a professional ecosystem with infrastructure, safety protocols, and international-level competition.
