Hyderabad is set to host the Indian Supercross League Round 2 at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Gachibowli. The event marks another big step for the league, bringing top-level motorsport action to Telangana.
Indian Supercross League Expands to Hyderabad
The Indian Supercross League (ISRL), the world’s first franchise-based Supercross racing league, has officially announced Hyderabad as the venue for Round 2 of Season 2. The GMC Balayogi Athletics Stadium will host the high-energy races, reflecting Telangana’s growing enthusiasm for motorsport and the government’s focus on youth-centric sporting opportunities.
At the announcement event, a symbolic helmet exchange and poster unveiling highlighted the collaboration between ISRL and the Telangana Government. Key dignitaries, including Shri A. P. Jithender Reddy, Shri Satish Goud, and representatives from ISRL, were present to celebrate the occasion.
Telangana Supports Indian Supercross League
Hon. Sports Minister Shri Vakiti Srihari praised the Indian Supercross League for bringing international-standard motorsport to the state. Further, he emphasized how ISRL will diversify opportunities, create jobs, and position Hyderabad as a global sporting hub.
Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder of ISRL, added that the move reflects the deep-rooted passion for motorsport in Hyderabad. He stressed that ISRL is not only about racing but also about creating pathways for young athletes, inspiring the next generation, and boosting economic impact through motorsport tourism.
ISRL Season 2 Schedule
With Hyderabad joining as a host city, the Indian Supercross League continues to expand its reach. Additionally, Season 2 promises an exciting lineup across three major cities:
- Pune – October 25-26
- Hyderabad – December 6-7
- Kerala – December 20-21
