Jeet Tapaswi Building a Culture of Motorsport & Drive Master India

Jeet Tapaswi

Motorsports in India has always had its share of challenges from limited infrastructure to lack of awareness, yet a few names have emerged as torchbearers of change. Among them, Jeet Tapaswi, Founder of Tapaswi Racing, has been a true pioneer. With a career spanning 108 National Races, 45 FMSCI podiums, and achievements across disciplines like autocross, drag racing, 4×4 RFC, motocross, and rally MX, Jeet’s journey reflects passion, grit, and purpose.
But Jeet’s story is not just about winning races. It is about building a movement. For over a decade, he has worked tirelessly to develop the drifting and motocross culture in India. Especially, inspiring Gen Z riders and drivers to look at motorsport not just as entertainment but as a discipline, a responsibility, and a way of life.

The Racing Journey of Jeet Tapaswi

Jeet’s racing resume speaks volumes, 9 autocross car races, 12 drag races, 2 4×4 RFC challenges, 6 motocross bike races, and even a rally MX bike event. But what truly sets him apart is his vision to use motorsport as a tool for change.

Along with his brother Ajit Tapaswi, Jeet has also been an avid car builder. Today, the duo is working on their 19th build, chasing a personal dream to complete 21 cars in their garage, with the 21st being nothing less than the iconic Porsche 911. Each car is a testament to their belief that machines aren’t just built to race they are built to inspire.

Among his many milestones, Jeet has also played a pivotal role in creating a Guinness World Record. Where Sanam Sekhon performed a drift at Umling La, the highest motorable point in India. This achievement not only placed Indian drifting on the international stage but also showcased Jeet’s passion for pushing limits.

From Drifting to Responsibility: The Birth of Drive Master India

While Jeet’s racing exploits continue to win hearts, his new venture, Drive Master India, is perhaps his most impactful initiative yet. For Jeet, motorsport has always been about giving back to the community, and Drive Master India is a natural extension of that philosophy.

At its core, Drive Master India is more than just a driving academy it is a movement. Its mission is to redefine how India drives by blending safety, discipline, performance, and inclusivity. The goal is not just to create better drivers but to shape safer citizens and nurture a new generation of motorsport talent.

Jeet emphasizes that while most people can drive, very few truly understand the sensibility of driving. It’s not only about handling a car but about respecting the machine, the rules, and the lives around us. This is where Drive Master India steps in to train people in discipline, focus, and composure. Further, ensuring that streets and circuits alike become safer places.

Drive Master India: Shaping the Future

Drive Master India follows a philosophy that is straightforward yet impactful:

  • Prioritizing safety – Building discipline both on and off the track.
  • Performance with purpose – Turning passion into skill and opportunity.
  • Inclusivity – Making world-class training accessible to every learner.
  • Culture building – Creating a movement where driving is about respect as much as it is about speed.

From first-time learners to fleet drivers and aspiring racers, Drive Master India is designed to cater to every segment. By combining global benchmarks with Indian realities, Jeet is creating a platform that doesn’t just teach driving but cultivates responsibility, resilience, and precision.

Inspiring a Generation

In many ways, Jeet Tapaswi embodies what motorsport in India can become a balance of thrill and responsibility. His decade-long work in drifting and motocross has already inspired a generation of youngsters to embrace motorsport seriously. Now, with Drive Master India, he is inspiring them to think beyond the racetrack. Especially, towards safer streets, sharper skills, and a culture of respect on the road.

For Jeet, the true race isn’t only about speed, but about creating a community where every driver realizes the responsibility they carry behind the wheel. That is a legacy far more meaningful than any podium finish.
