Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles has started deliveries of its advanced Tata Prima E.55S, a heavy-duty battery-electric prime mover, to Enviiiro Wheels Mobility. The first batch was handed over in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. These zero-emission trucks will be used for transporting minerals and ores, marking a significant step toward sustainable freight movement in India.

Advanced Features of Tata Prima E.55S
Tata built the Prima E.55S on an advanced EV platform that features an integrated e-axle and regenerative braking to improve range. It delivers a range of up to 350 km per charge. Further, it comes with a 3-speed Auto Shift transmission and dual-gun fast charging capability for high uptime.
The truck also includes safety and driver-assistance features such as a Driver Monitoring System, Lane Departure Warning, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Cruise Control, and an Electronic Braking System. Optional ADAS features further enhance safety. The premium Prima cabin, with a suspended driver seat and adjustable steering wheel, ensures superior comfort and reduced fatigue for drivers.
