Audi has officially handed over a fleet of new company cars to FC Bayern Munich players, highlighting the strength of the Audi FC Bayern partnership. The players selected from Audi’s range of fully electric and hybrid models, marking another step toward sustainable mobility in sports. The handover event took place at Neuburg an der Donau, offering players an immersive Audi driving experience and exclusive insights into the Audi F1 Project.

FC Bayern Players Choose Electric and Hybrid Audis

As part of the long-standing Audi FC Bayern partnership, players received personalized vehicles for the new season. Captain Manuel Neuer and teammates picked the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e quattro. While Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, and Michael Olise went for the fully electric RS e-tron GT performance. Young star Tom Bischof chose the Q4 Sportback e-tron, and Joshua Kimmich opted for the spacious Q7 SUV S line TFSI e quattro.

Marco Schubert, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG, stated that the FC Bayern players selected vehicles reflecting the wide variety in Audi’s lineup from compact cars to powerful, sporty models. Everyone found a car that suits them perfectly.”

For over two decades, the Audi FC Bayern partnership has symbolized trust and performance. FC Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen emphasized, “This vehicle handover is a tradition that showcases our dependable relationship. After 23 successful years together, we continue to share the same drive and goals both on and off the field.”

The event also brought joy to 100 Audi employees who won a special competition to meet the players and hand over the keys personally. Further, creating a memorable experience for both the team and the brand’s workforce.

Exclusive Glimpse into Audi F1 Project

During the event, FC Bayern players toured the Audi F1 Project facilities. Further, getting a close look at V6 hybrid engine assembly and dynamic simulators. They also explored the “Mission Control Room” and engine test benches. Moreover, gaining a firsthand view of the advanced technology driving Audi’s Formula 1 ambitions.

Schubert added, “It’s great to see how enthusiastic the players are about our electric models. It proves how thrilling electric mobility can be.”
