Based in Mumbai, Kapil Jain is a graduate from Mumbai University and currently serves as Vice President at Aerospace Industries Ltd. Despite a demanding professional journey, his love for motorcycles never faded. Riding daily as a commuter in his 20s kept the fire alive. But it wasn’t until two decades later that he decided to turn his passion into a purpose.
In February 2022, he founded the Mumbai Riders Club (MRC), a group built on brotherhood, adventure, and the spirit of exploration. What started as a few rides with friends soon evolved into a growing community of bikers. Especially, united by a shared dream to ride, explore, and live freely.
Riding Experience and Adventures
Kapil’s riding journey spans 24 years. From solo rides across Gujarat, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh to over 70 group rides, he has explored diverse terrains and cultures. Yet, for him, every ride feels unique, a blend of challenges, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
When asked about his most cherished moment, Kapil smiles and recalls the Leh Ladakh ride with his group. For him, it was not just a destination but a reminder that great journeys are about the people and moments shared along the way.
Challenges on the Road
No adventure is complete without a few hurdles, and Kapil has had his share of testing moments. One unforgettable challenge came during a ride through the Chitrakoot jungle. His tubeless rim was damaged late in the evening, with no mobile network and wild animals nearby. Alone in the wilderness, he had to rely on courage and quick thinking to find help and make it out safely.
Such moments, Kapil says, teach patience, resilience, and self-belief, qualities that every true rider must carry along the road.
Dream Rides and Future Plans
Kapil’s dream destinations include Tawang and Winter Spiti, places that demand endurance but reward riders with unmatched beauty and serenity. Already having completed four major rides this year, his next adventure is a Mumbai-Goa ride to attend a motorcycle event in December.
Beyond his personal goals, Kapil hopes to guide new riders. He is open to training sessions for beginners, helping them ride responsibly while embracing the thrill of the journey.
