The Porsche Icons of Dubai festival returns for its fifth edition, bringing a thrilling mix of history, innovation, and design. The Porsche Heritage and Museum has confirmed three rare classics, the 911 GT1 Strassenversion, 959 Paris-Dakar, and 917/30 Spyder in Vaillant livery on display at the 2025 Icons of Porsche event in Dubai.
Porsche Icons of Dubai Celebrate Heritage
Porsche Heritage and Museum is once again partnering with the Icons of Porsche festival, a vibrant annual celebration in Dubai. Achim Stejskal, Director of Porsche Heritage and Museum, expressed his excitement: “Icons of Porsche is one of our highlights of the year. We are confident that the crowd will appreciate these dream machines.”
Among the stunning displays is the 911 GT1 Strassenversion, a road-legal version inspired by Porsche’s endurance racing legends. Moreover, with its race-bred engineering and limited production, this model stands as a true symbol of Porsche performance and design.
Rare Classics Headline
The 1986 Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar will also make an appearance. This historic model, which conquered the grueling Paris-Dakar Rally, recently underwent a meticulous restoration by the Porsche Museum. Further, it remains a symbol of the brand’s daring spirit and engineering excellence.
Joining the lineup is the 917/30 Spyder in Vaillant livery, one of the final iterations of Porsche’s iconic race car series. Especially, known for its record-breaking 355.8 km/h speed at Talladega Speedway, it showcases Porsche’s dominance in motorsport. A Taycan Turbo GT in matching Vaillant colors will appear beside it bridging the brand’s storied past with its electrified future.

The Porsche Icons of Dubai festival will take place on November 22–23, 2025, at Dubai Design District. Visitors can expect classic cars, new model debuts, art, culture, and premium food experiences all celebrating Porsche’s unmatched legacy.
