The new 2021 Benelli TRK 502X BS6 is available in the Indian market. Adishwar Auto Ride India (Mahavir Group) in collaboration with Benelli India has launched the TRK 502X BS6. The new BS6 compliant Benelli TRK 502X is an off-road tourer which is another variant of the Benelli TRK 502 which is its road-biased predecessor. The adventure tourer is built for those captivating off-road journeys, through the dirt, and on the hills.

2021 Benelli TRK 502X BS6 Launched In India

The Pesaro, Italy-based Benelli TRK 502X comes in three colours — pure white, Benelli red, and metallic dark grey. Its design is eye-catching and stylish. This bike shows its strong off-road roots. It has a seat height of 840 mm, a height of 1,480 mm, a width of 915 mm, and a length of 2,220 mm. Its large size gives it a bold presence on the road.

The TRK 502X delivers extreme off-road capability with its upgraded features. It runs on a 500 cc liquid-cooled, dual-cylinder, 4-valve engine. The motor produces 46 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm. An electronic fuel injection system and a 6-speed gearbox ensure smooth performance. Riding it on hills or highways feels powerful and thrilling.

Built for All Terrain

Benelli TRK 502X BS6 is designed to conquer the rough land – the hills, the off-roads, and pretty much every place you wish to glide it on as you wish. A strong steel trellis frame made with trestle tubes and plates makes it rock solid and durable under any weather. It comes with 50 mm inverted forks at the front and a swing arm with a central shock absorber at the rear. Further, it has an adjustable spring preload, hydraulic rebound, and compression setting.

The adventure tourer motorbike is surely a capable bike. Benelli TRK 502X has a knobby Metzeler touring off-road tyre. Which uses a 19” front wheel and a 17” rear wire-spoked wheel with radial rims made of aluminium alloy. The size of the front wheel is 110/80 making it comfortable for the rider to manoeuvre it on rough surfaces. Similarly, the rear-wheel (150/70) ensures safety and balance on uneven lands.

Braking and suspensions have always been the forte of the Benelli motorcycle. Especially, with a dual-channel ABS inbuilt in the bike front 320 mm disc and a rear 260 mm with 2 pistons floating calliper on the front and single-piston calliper on the rear wheel, the TRK 502X has a reliable braking system. Also, the ABS has an on / off mode button which can be set by the rider. The bike has a highly accurate gearbox and a multidisc wet clutch which gives a smooth gear shifting capability, also it’s forgiving on the rider as it keeps its momentum going even if the gear has not shifted completely occasionally which can be a boon for a less experienced rider while cornering or moving fast.

Performance

Benelli TRK 502X is a true adventure bike. It has 220 mm ground clearance, high enough to handle off-road hurdles. The bike weighs 235 kg, which may seem heavy for a 47 hp engine. But its upright riding position and good ergonomics make it easy to ride for long hours.

The 2021 Benelli TRK 502X BS6 comes with backlit switchgear and aluminium knuckle guards on a new handlebar for better grip. The mirrors are redesigned for clearer visibility. The instrument cluster now features an orange LCD and a white backlit analogue tachometer.

In India, the 2021 TRK 502X BS6 starts at ₹5.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and costs over ₹6 lakh on-road. It is powerful, well-shaped, and built for thrill. The bike rivals models like the Honda CB500X, Kawasaki Versys 650, and Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT.
