New Delhi : Tata Motors, India’s foremost commercial vehicle manufacturer, has delivered 400 cutting-edge Starbus EV buses to the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). This is through its subsidiary, TML CV Mobility Solutions Ltd. This forms a part of a larger contract with the DTC, encompassing the supply, maintenance, and operation of 1,500 low-floor, air-conditioned electric buses for a 12-year duration.
These zero-emission buses, aligned with the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. Moreover, these are constructed domestically using state-of-the-art technology, incorporating the latest features and advanced battery systems. To provide a safe, comfortable, and convenient means of intra-city transportation within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. With this achievement, Tata Motors crosses a significant milestone by delivering more than 1,000 e-buses nationwide.
