For 2021 things have changed a bit, BMW has introduced the all-new 3 Series Gran Limousine, exclusively for India. The 3 Series Gran Limousine blends sheer driving experience with the outstanding comfort of an extremely spacious sedan. It is a vehicle with sporty elements for the times you want to push it hard, go through gears and feel the adrenaline rush but at the same time also possesses practicality which is being able to offer utmost luxury for the long and entertaining weekend drives with your family or friends. The extended wheelbase results in a more unwinding and relaxed cabin experience. Opulent and incredibly comfortable seats wrapped in bespoke Vernasca leather upholstery along with features such as the Panorama Glass Sunroof, Ambient lighting, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, Wireless Charging, Parking Assist with Reverse Assist result in a luxurious driving experience.

BMW’s Live Cockpit Professional includes 3D navigation, a 12.3″ digital display behind the steering wheel and a 10.25″ Control Display. • Engine/Transmission/Safety 

The 3 Series Gran Limousine is available in both petrol and diesel variants. Thanks to BMW’s TwinPower Turbo Technology, the petrol and diesel engines combine maximum power with efficiency. The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine in the 330Li churns out a decent 258 hp. The 330Li accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds, for a vehicle of this size, that’s really impressive. However, the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine in the 320Ld produces 190 hp and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

The 8-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission performs really well resulting in smooth gearshifts. The engine along with the transmission offers full power and efficiency. To make driving a little more pleasurable you get shift paddles and cruise control with braking. The Gran Limousine although a fairly large vehicle comes with launch control to obtain maximum acceleration from a standstill. The Driving Experience Control switch enables the driver to choose between different driving modes. That comprise of ECOPRO, COMFORT, Sport and Sport+ depending upon the driving conditions.

The BMW Efficiency Dynamics includes features such as an 8-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission, Auto Start-Stop, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Electronic Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution and ECOPRO Mode in Driving Experience Control.

BMW Safety technologies include six airbags, Attentiveness Assistant, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Further it includes Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors. Additionally,  ISOFIX child seat mounting and an integrated spare wheel under the load floor.
