News: Tata Motors 5 Million milestone!
India’s leading automotive manufacturer, Tata Motors, announces its achievement of producing 5 million passenger vehicles. Tata Motors achieved this milestone on 3rd March 2023 and the employees uniquely celebrated this milestone with the Tata Motors family. By forming the New Forever series of Tata cars and SUVs representing 50 Lakh. Further, marking the milestone as the most preferred automotive among Indian customers.
Further, celebrating the achievement of 5 million production milestone, Tata Motors shall launch a celebration campaign for its Indian customers and employees. As part of the campaign, Tata Motors will equip its dealers and showrooms with branded outfits and signatory mnemonics to mark milestones. Tata Motors will continue to celebrate this achievement with a month-long campaign at its manufacturing sites and regional offices.
The Journey to 5 Million
In 2004 Tata Motors achieved the milestone of 1 million PV’s. Followed by 2 million in 2010 and 3 million in 2015. Further, in 2020 Tata Motors launched its 4 millionth car. The journey of Tata Motors marks the testimony of its strong product line and increased connection with consumers. Tata Motors has showcased its potential to succeed from 4 million PV production to 5 million in three years. Moreover, this is despite Covid-19 and the crisis of semiconductor shortages plaguing the global automotive industry.
Since 1998, Tata Motors has launched several iconic brands like Safari, Indica and a new range of automotive like Nexon, Harrier, Altroz etc. These brands have stood the test of time, and played an integral role in shaping the automotive industry. Moreover, Tata Motors has ensured to maintain being a popular brand household in India post-economic liberalization.
