Stuttgart/Singapore – In a groundbreaking move, Porsche is set to launch the second all-electric model in its lineup, the highly anticipated Macan Turbo. Celebrating a decade since the debut of the original Macan. Further, the latest iteration aims to redefine electric SUV standards with its powerful performance, cutting-edge design, and remarkable day-to-day usability.

Power and Performance Redefined

Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, expressed, “We are taking the Macan to a completely new level – with exceptional E-Performance, the new Driver Experience, and a very impressive design.”

The Macan Turbo boasts sports-car-like performance with a powertrain delivering up to 470 kW (639 PS). Equipped with the latest generation of permanently-excited PSM electric motors on both front and rear axles, the Macan Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 260 km/h.

Innovative Battery Technology and Fast Charging of Porsche Macan Turbo

The electric motors draw power from a lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh. Further, part of the newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture. The Macan Turbo supports fast charging at up to 270 kW, allowing a 10 to 80 percent charge in approximately 21 minutes at compatible fast-charging stations.

Sustainable Design: Merging Form and Function

The new Macan showcases Porsche’s commitment to sustainability, using ecological materials in selected interior components. The design, featuring Porsche’s signature DNA and aerodynamic optimization, emphasizes a sleek, sporty appearance while maintaining practicality.

Inside, the Macan introduces a driver experience like never before. Moreover, with up to three screens, including a 12.6-inch curved-design instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch central display. The infotainment system is based on Android Automotive OS, providing high computing power and connectivity.

Driving dynamics receive a boost with features like rear-axle steering, Porsche Traction Management (ePTM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). The Macan Turbo comes with air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) electronic damping control. Further, providing a balance between comfort and performance.
