Throughout the season, he secured ten top-ten moto results, with his best overall classification placing him at an impressive 6th in the Swedish Grand Prix. Despite being a rookie, Coenen showcased remarkable speed and consistently demonstrated excellent starts. However, he also faced challenges, including minor setbacks and disruptive injuries that are common for newcomers.
