Ducati Scrambler: Desert Sled Fasthouse Limited Edition

The Borgo Panigale, Italy-based motorcycle producer Ducati has announced its Limited Edition Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse to hit the streets by the end of March this year. The latest edition of the scrambler Fasthouse motorcycle will be a limited edition offer with only 800 customers destined to own the vehicle. Each motorbike comes with a unique number making it a special one.

The Fasthouse edition of the new Ducati Scrambler is quite a special motorcycle. It has rooted a special space in the hearts of the one who is adventurous and craves the eternal satisfaction of off-road riding. The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse edition has been created to celebrate the success of a memorable collaboration between Ducati Scrambler and the American clothing brand Fasthouse which took the elite desert racer, Jordan Graham, to victory in the hooligan class of the mint 400 last year (2020). The new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse was presented in a video shot at the Fasthouse headquarters in California featuring Jason Chinnock, the CEO of Ducati North America, and Kenny Alexander, founder, and president of Fasthouse.

It all started in the year 2020 when Ducati and Fasthouse partnered together and worked as a team to participate in the mint 400 “the great American off-road race.” The mint is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in America held annually in March at Los Vegas, Nevada.

Talking about the new Ducati Scrambler Fasthouse limited edition the bike is simply iconic. The brand itself has no limits. The new Ducati Scrambler is powered by an air-cooled, L-twin 803cc engine which has so much character and aggression, it will leave all the other bikes lost in the dust. The Desert Sled is a machine meant for riding on a desert or aggressive off-road ecosystem.

The new scrambler has a steel tube trellis frame, colour – Ducati red. It has a longer swingarm and robust travelling suspensions at the front and rear – 46mm fully adjustable usd forks at the front and Kayaba rear shock, pre-load, and rebound adjustable suspensions at the rear wheels. The new desert sled scrambler Fasthouse motorbike comes with Pirelli SCORPION™ RALLY STR tires in black with both spoked wheels – 19’’ at the front and 17” rear wheel. The new Fasthouse edition dessert sled scrambler has an extended rear fender with a high plate holder. It also has a higher front mudguard and a variable cross-section handlebar which gives great balance and comfort while riding the bike, and not to mention the new seat with an anti-slip cover, all these add-ons make the new Ducati Scrambler edition more durable and reliable even while facing the gnarliest desert conditions.

The aesthetics are uber-cool with its Fasthouse livery reproducing the design of the bikes that competed in the mint 400 race – the four strips on the side of the fuel tank with a mat black finish, the big Ducati Desert Sled logo with a symbol X showcasing its off-road power along with the subtly placed Fasthouse logo, we can say that it is a mix of the heritage retro Ducati Scrambler and the modern-day narrative blended in perfect harmony.

The Fasthouse capsule collection highlights the significance of the limited-edition Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse. It introduced apparels that reignite the passion within the riders and commemorates the great feat achieved by the brand. Apparels like hats, jackets, Jersey, and Tee made of high-quality fabrics are available for purchase from the end of April on Fasthouse sales channels, Ducati online shop, and in Ducati Network dealers.

The latest variants of the Ducati scrambler are the 1100 Dark PRO, the Desert Sled with attractive blue livery, the night shift a cafe racer-inspired Ducati Scrambler, and the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse limited-edition motorcycle.

The new Fasthouse edition will not be available in the Indian market. In the UK market, Ducati has priced the new scrambler at £10295 GBP which is £300 GBP greater than its standard variant. In short, the new desert sled Fasthouse edition is more than just a production bike it’s the voice of the brand narrating an epic story that will stay in the hearts of the contemporary adventure fanatics and Ducati fans for a long time.
