Tata Motors recently unveiled two new offerings in its segment, one being the most-awaited introduction of its new addition to the iCNG family – Tiago NRG CNG and the second being, the launch of the new Tigor EV sedan with several add-ons!
Being the latest iCNG offering from Tata Motors, the Tiago NRG CNG will now be available in 4 exuberant colors and 2 trim options.

TATA TIAGO NRG CNG
The Tiago NRG iCNG is celebrated as India’s first-ever CNG toughroader. That comes with ground clearance of 177 mm and a perfectly retuned suspension.
The Tiago NRG CNG has been powered by a 1.2L three-cylinder, bi-fuel petrol engine. This powerhouse engine offers a whopping 72 bhp & 95 Nm in the CNG mode. The engine has been comprehensively paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, its fuel efficiency has not been officially released yet.

NEW TATA TIGOR EV
Getting down to the details of the new Tata Tigor EV, the sedan has meticulously given a next-level update which includes a bunch of additional features and more. Moreover, the existing owners of the Tata Tigor EV can get their hands on these upgraded features for absolutely free.
The new Tata Tigor EV gets the same Ziptron EV tech and is backed by a 26kWh battery pack. Further, its paired with an electric motor that offers a whopping 75PS and 170 Nm. Moreover, the Tigor EV sedan comes with a battery pack that can be refilled from 0-80 percent in around 8.5 hours using the standard wall charger. However, it may vary with that of a 25kW DC fast charger.
The new Tata Tigor EV will be available in 3 colors that include:
- Magnetic Red
- Signature Teal Blue
- Daytona Grey
However, the new Tata Tigor EV may not have a full makeover or a complete upgrade. But it comes with some next-gen added features for a seamless driving experience. Moreover, the new Tigor EV now boasts smart improved features that include advanced technology, Zconnect, smartwatch connectivity, and iTPMS, among others. All of these added features will be exclusively available across the range. Which ensures access to all these features at all times.
In addition to the new feature upgrade, the Tata Tigor EV sedan now has an updated ARAI-claimed range of a whopping 315 km.
Moreover, the existing Tata Tigor EV owners can now get the feature upgrade. Since Tata Motors is offering a feature update pack absolutely free. This software update will be exclusively available only for the existing models.

Further, the toughroader Tata Tiago NRG CNG has been launched in India with a starting price of around Rs. 7.40 lakh. The Tiago NRG CNG will be offered in two variants namely XT and XZ.
