The all-new BMW M4 Competition Coupé premiered in India by BMW Group. The high-performance sports car is a completely built-up unit (CBU).

The all-new BMW M4 Competition comes in 6 exemplary metallic shades such as Skyscraper grey, Black Sapphire, Portimao Blue, Toronto Red, Sao Paulo Yellow and Alpine White in non-metallic. Additionally, selective BMW Individual metallic colour finishes shall be offered like Tanzanite Blue, Aventurine Red, Dravitgrey, Frozen Portimao Blue & Frozen Brilliant White.

Moreover, BMW Individual exclusive Paintworks like Frozen Orange, Frozen Deep Grey & Frozen Black are also available. The new M4 comprises fine upholstery combinations such as M Leather ‘Merino’ with extended contents followed by combinations like Kyatami Orange, Yas Marina Blue, Silverstone.

Exterior Design

The all-new BMW M4 Competition Coupé design makes a bold statement towards its supreme performance & engaging driving experience. The exterior comprises of M-specific version of the large, vertical hallmark double bar BMW kidney grille in a horizontal design. The powerfully chiselled wheel arches with striking M gills, and the wide side sills with extension parts for the front and rear aprons. Further, the Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Laserlight is specified as basic. The M-specific exterior mirrors are aerodynamically optimized and coloured in High-gloss Black as basic. The Coupé displays aerodynamically optimized fins along with a rear spoiler & 2 pairs of exhaust tailpipes finished in Black Chrome.

Interior Design

The interior has structured surfaces and an ergonomically untarnished cockpit design. This ensures the driver’s focus remains totally on the intense driving exposure. The electronically adaptable M sport seats and M Leather ‘Merino’ with extended contents upholstery with Carbon fibre trim come as basic. Moreover, exclusive functionality like M Seat belts, Multifunctional steering wheel, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, seat heating with lumbar support (on the front seating) and automatic anti-dazzle feature in all mirrors. Resulting in a sporty interior appeal.

Further, the advanced Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) sunroof enhances its agility. Additionally, the ambient lighting sets the atmosphere for every mood. Performance

The new 3.0-litre straight-6 unit incorporates high-performance character of BMW M GmbH engines along with the M TwinPower Turbo technology. The BMW M4 petrol engine generates an output of 510 hp and a max torque of 650 Nm @ 2,750-5,500 rpm. Further, it can accelerate from 0 -100 km/hr in just 3.5 secs.

The 8 speed M Steptronic transmission enables exemplary short shift times and fast. Which leads to explicit response to every nudge of the accelerator. Moreover, it comes with 3 distinct modes in both automatic and manual transmission comfort oriented, sports-focused & track optimized.

The Setup button on the centre console furnishes direct access to the settings modes for the engine, chassis, steering & braking system, plus traction control. The engine characteristics can be modified by setting either of the 3 modes EFFICIENT, SPORT and SPORT PLUS. Wherein by selecting the COMFORT, SPORT or SPORT PLUS modes sets the engine to the electronically controlled dampers.

Safety & Features

For maximum safety, the all-new BMW M4 comprises off head and side airbags for the front seating (driver & passenger seat) along with head airbags for rear seats as basic. Additional, the BMW Connected Drive Technologies & BMW Efficient Dynamics continue the BMW innovation legacy.
