The all-new luxury electric sedan Mercedes AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE exceptional comfort with impressive performance and virtually noise-free electric driving. Further, the car utilizes the AMG 4.0ltr V8 biturbo engine with an AMG-specific hybrid drivetrain. Along with a new stage in the development of the AMG high-performance battery, as a result, it increases the all-electric range to 33km. Other notable features of the S 63 E PERFORMANCE include the AIR BALANCE package, active ambient lighting, and the Burmester® 3D Surround Soundsystem with Dolby® Atmos. The gross list price of this luxury sedan is EUR 208,392.801, and it is now available for order in Germany.

Performance meets Exclusive Features

The AMG Edition 1 is a fully equipped and exclusive version of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE. That will be available for a limited time following the market launch. This special edition comprises features like the MANUFAKTUR alpine grey uni paintwork, 21” cross-spoke design AMG forged wheels, and seat covers padded with exclusive AMG Nappa leather with contrasting red topstitching.

The AMG Exterior Night Package further accentuates the dynamic presence of the AMG Edition 1. With dark chrome or high-gloss black finishes on elements such as the front and side skirt trim, mirror caps, waistline trim strip, and window weatherstrips. Ornamental trim on the rear apron, black-chromed AMG twin tailpipes, and heat-insulating dark-tinted glass add to the sleek look of this model. Red-finished brake callipers and a silver-chrome fuel filler cap with AMG logo complete the design.

The AMG Edition 1 also features carefully selected materials and exquisite craftsmanship, with the AMG Exclusive package including AMG seats in black Nappa leather with red seams. Moreover, combining touring comfort with sportiness is the topstitched Nappa leather/MICROCUT microfibre with red on the AMG performance steering wheel. The black/red colour combination flows through AMG ornamental elements in black visible carbon with red accent stitching. Whereas, the AMG door sill panels come with replaceable covers with a bright AMG logo. The AMG floor mats that perfectly stitching in contrasting red further emphasize the special status of the vehicle. The central console also features an exclusive Edition 1 logo engraving.

Further, protecting the valuable vehicle, every vehicle will receive a tailor-made AMG indoor car cover with a custom “Edition 1” pattern. The outer layer is made of tear-resistant synthetic fabric and an anti-static inner lining of woven flannel protecting the vehicle from dust and scratches when parked in the garage.

Extensive Selection

It seems like Mercedes-AMG offers a wide range of individual options for buyers to customize their new S 63 E PERFORMANCE according to their preferences. These options include different wheel designs, exterior packages, radiator grille, sunroof, seat covers, and even a high-performance composite brake system. The prices for these options vary, with the AMG ceramic high-performance composite brake system being the most expensive at EUR 8,925.00. The AMG Driver’s Package, which allows for a top speed of 290 km/h, is also an option for EUR 2,261.00.

Factory 56

Factory 56 in Sindelfingen is a state-of-the-art production facility that sets new standards in terms of digitalization, sustainability, and flexibility. The factory uses innovative technologies such as 5G wireless networks, autonomous guided vehicles, and artificial intelligence to optimize production processes and increase efficiency. It also features a CO2-neutral energy supply, with solar panels, geothermal energy, and a battery storage system.

Factory 56 is part of Mercedes-Benz’s global production network, which includes more than 30 locations around the world. The network produces vehicles for markets in over 100 countries. And is responsible for ensuring that each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Sustainability

That’s great to hear! Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to sustainable and resource-saving production is commendable. It’s great to know that since 2022, the production of vehicles and batteries at all of Mercedes-Benz’s plants worldwide has been net carbon-neutral. And that electricity is purchased exclusively from renewable sources. The photovoltaic system on the roof of Factory 56 in Sindelfingen. That supplies the production hall with self-generated green electricity is a great example of this commitment. It’s impressive that over 12,000 modules generate around 5,000 kWp of power. Covering around 30% of the factory’s annual electricity needs. We hope other automobile manufacturers will follow suit and take steps towards sustainable and eco-friendly production.
