That’s great to hear! Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to sustainable and resource-saving production is commendable. It’s great to know that since 2022, the production of vehicles and batteries at all of Mercedes-Benz’s plants worldwide has been net carbon-neutral. And that electricity is purchased exclusively from renewable sources. The photovoltaic system on the roof of Factory 56 in Sindelfingen. That supplies the production hall with self-generated green electricity is a great example of this commitment. It’s impressive that over 12,000 modules generate around 5,000 kWp of power. Covering around 30% of the factory’s annual electricity needs. We hope other automobile manufacturers will follow suit and take steps towards sustainable and eco-friendly production.
