The all-new Cayenne is scheduled for its world première at the Auto Shanghai show in China on April 18 2023. Further, Porsche brings in a cutting-edge display and control concept. The Porsche Driver Experience is a versatile individualisation and intuitive operation supported by a fully digital display. About the all new Porsche Cayenne

The deluxe cockpit gets features from the Taycan electric sports car. Further, for the very first time, Porsche gets a combustion engine transferred. Moreover, it comprises a digital instrument cluster in a curved and discrete design with various display options. An improvised centre console and a gen-next steering wheel. Further, the automatic gear shifter is now based on the right of the steering wheel. This results in a large space for the air conditioning controller in a state-of-art black panel design. The optional passenger display inherits a new level of Passenger experience while interacting with the vehicle and the driver. This completes the optimization of connectivity functions of the new interior concept.

Driver-Centric and interactive: the new cockpit in the Cayenne

The new Porsche Cayenne offers a completely new cockpit experience to the driver and passengers. Further, combining a strong driver focus with new interactive features. Resulting in a new way of the driving experience to life for the passenger as well. A fully digital 12.6” curved discrete instrument cluster display now does not require a hood cover. Thus offering it a modern, slimline appearance. Based on the equipment level, the driver can select from up to 7 views on the instrument cluster.

The Power-packed Steering Wheel

A key factor of the new Porsche Driver Experience is the perfectly balanced digital and analogue features. One can find all crucial driving experiences are circled by the steering wheel. As typical for a Porsche, the start button of the new engine is placed on the steering wheel on the left side. Moreover, the gear selector is now placed on the right of the steering wheel. The four riding modes now can be directly controlled from the steering as a standard feature (Normal, Off-road, Sport and Sport Plus). The new toggle switch for selecting functionalities and designs in the instrument cluster can be found directly on the steering wheel.

The Centre Console

Air conditioning settings are quick and intuitive with a clear user interface. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) gets a high-resolution 12.3” central display as the control centre. Numerous driving and comfort functionalities can be accessed by the driver from the PCM. Along with the multimedia function and the standard online navigation. An absolute new feature in the Porsche Cayenne is the 10.9” passenger display optionally integrated.

A luxurious, sporty feel!

The sportiest car in the segment is the Porsche Cayenne, the interior ensures they reflect the same as well. Other than the typical Cayenne design features are the dynamic functionalities combined with a sporty ambience. A clean design with emphasizes on width is displayed by Porsche with the new control concept in the new Cayenne. Porsche has redesigned the entire instrument panel, the upper section of the inside door and the centre console.
