In a strategic move to solidify its position in the electric vehicle market, Volkswagen is gearing up to launch the ID.7 Tourer. An all-new estate car that joins the flagship ID.704 as part of the ID.7 portfolio. This expansion caters to the growing demand for electric vehicles in Europe. Manufactured alongside the ID.7 fastback saloon and the ID.4 SUV at the electric mobility plant in Emden, Germany. Further, allowing for rapid charging from 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes.

Technological innovations include an augmented-reality (AR) head-up display as standard, projecting relevant journey information into the driver’s field of vision. Additionally, the ID.7 Tourer introduces the Wellness In-Car app, offering three preconfigured programs (Fresh Up, Calm Down, and Power Break) to enhance wellbeing during the journey or breaks. The app adjusts various vehicle functions, including background lighting, sound, air conditioning, smart glass function, seat air conditioning, seat massage, ID.LIGHT, and the infotainment screen.
