Leading Indian automotive maker Tata Motors launch the Re.Wi.Re facility – Recycle with Respect. The very first registered Vehicle Scrappage Facility (RVSF) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Further, in its commitment to sustainable mobility made great strides forward. Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ Minister for Roads and Highways inaugurated the state-of-the-art facility.

The Tata Motors Re.Wi.Re facility has a capacity of 15,000 vehicles per year. Further, the best-in-class eco-friendly procedure ensure the vehicles are safely and sustainably dismantled. This plant is developed and operated by Tata Motors partner Ganganagar Vaahan Udyog Pvt. Ltd. for the scrapping of obsolete passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands.

At the launch of Tata Motors’ first Re.Wi.Re RVSF, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honorary Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, stated-

Creating an ecosystem for phasing out obsolete and polluting vehicles and replacing them with greener, more fuel-efficient vehicles to spur the economy by reducing the country’s carbon footprint was the objective of the Vehicle Scrappage Policy. Congratulations to Tata Motors for building this quality facility that meets world standards. As we work to position India as a vehicle scrappage hub for the entire South Asia region, India needs more such ultra-modern scrapping and recycling units. ”

This launch of RVSF (Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility) marks a new beginning for the responsible scrapping of end-of-life vehicles. Globally evaluated and optimized recycling processes extract maximum value from scrap for future use and minimize waste for overall improvement. We thank Sri Gadkari Jee for her visionary efforts in implementing the National Vehicle Scrap Policy. Further, we look forward to working with our partners to establish Re.Wi.Re facilities across the country. Further, these decentralized facilities will benefit customers, share the economic value generated and create jobs. While fulfilling the need for environmentally friendly scrapping in all parts of the country.

The Re.Wi.Re. facility is designed for the scrapping of all kind of end-of-life passenger and commercial vehicles ensuring contaminant remediation. Moreover, this facility is completely digital with hassle-free paperless operation. Further it has dedicated stations for safely dismantling components like batteries, tyres, oil, fuel, liquids and gases. Further, the vehicles undergo a rigorous documentation and dismantling procedure selected solely for passenger and commercial vehicle requirements.
