India’s top most automobile manufacturer Tata Motors inks the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). To build the scrappage centers in Maharashtra with the Government of Maharashtra.

Supporting the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in Maharashtra through the Industries, Energy and Labor Department, Government of Maharashtra. The MoU got inked at the Conference on Investment Opportunities in Highway, Transport and Logistics in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, Shri. Nitin Gadkari and other dignitaries. With a YoY bandwidth of 35,000 maximum vehicles the proposed scrappage facility in Maharashtra shall carter to both passenger vehicles as well as commercial vehicles.

Industries, Energy and Labor Department will uphold in working with the fundamental endorsements according to the principles and guidelines of the State Government of Maharashtra. In accordance with the vehicle scrappage policy draft to set up the RVSF published by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).

It will address the goal of all partners with advantages, for example, low import bill for scrap and raw petroleum, open positions for MSMEs, the chance of potential gain in new vehicle deals for OEMs, low activity cost for vehicle proprietors, more secure and cleaner vehicles for customers and a reasonable climate for all.
