The All new BMW F850 GS and BMW F850 GS Adventure.

The all-new BMW F850 GS and the BMW F850 GS Adventure premiered earlier last week. The motorbikes portray a zestful masculine look. The iconic features in its design like the asymmetric headlight and the GS-typical flyline. Making it prominent in representing the BMW Motorrad GS clan. The BMW F 850 GS emphasizes its sporty characteristics with the Rallye style and Racing Blue metallic color along with the hand-protector bars and black fixed fork tubes. The gold rims and electrifying radiator cowl highlight its luxury feel.

Whereas, the new BMW F 850 GS Adventure gets the Rallye style with Kalamata metallic matt color. That signifies its sporty expertise with the consciousness of an adventure. Further, the gold rims and fixed fork tubes, make the appearance exquisite. The BMW F 850 GS Adventure shall also be available in the Black Storm metallic color.

Performance

The BMW F 850 GS and the F 850 GS Adventure are powered by a liquid-cooled four-valve two-cylinder engine with 853cc. Moreover, it comes with fuel injection and a 6-speed gearbox in both models. The two counterbalance shafts ensure smoothness, spontaneous response attributes, amazing pulling power and low fuel consumption. Both bikes generate 70 kW at 8,250 rpm and 92 Nm at 6,250 rpm.

The new GS models offers the Rain and Road riding modes combined with the BMW Motorrad ABS and the ASC automatic stability control. Further ensuring the highest level of safety. Moreover, along with the riding modes Pro – ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Enduro’, DTC dynamic traction control and ABS Pro are also available. Dynamic ESA ensures the next level of rider safety, comfort and performance.
Both BMW f 850 GS and the F850 GS Adventure come with a 6.5” full-color TFT display. Integrating operation via the BMW Motorrad multi-controller offering quick access to vehicle and connectivity functions. Additionally, phone and media can be easily accesses and the Bluetooth connectivity makes it convenient for calls and music. And all of this without installing any application. Further, the BMW Motorrad Connected app features navigation directly via the TFT display.

Conclusion

The BMW F 850 GS Pro is priced at INR. 12.5lac and the BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro is priced at INR. 13.25lac ex-showroom. Deliveries of the new BS6 adventure motorbikes shall commence by 2022 June.
