The flying squad is now furnished with the latest gadgets in India, accounting to minimize the mishaps & ensure higher level of safety on roads. These interceptors are loaded with Tint Meters, Speed Guns & Breath analyzers.
The high end modern speed guns can accurately record the speed limit of the vehicle from a distance. The transparency of the window panes & the windscreen shall be checked by the tint meter. Offenders shall get penalized & the vehicle shall be impounded – stated Abhay Deshpandey – Deputy Commissioner Enforcement.
The government acquired the interceptors at a price of INR. 13.7cr. Delivering 76 interceptors as the first slot the government shall acquire 16 more interceptors shortly.
