About INVICTO

Toyota and Maruti have collaborated on several models for the Indian market. With the Maruti Baleno and the Toyota as the Glanza share the same lines. Similarly, the Maruti Vitara Brezza sold as the Urban Cruiser by Toyota.

Furthermore, the two Japanese parent companies have jointly developed a mid-size SUV. Maruti sells this SUV as the Grand Vitara, while Toyota offers it as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India.

The expected cost of the Invicto, is around ₹18 lakh to ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom). Further, aligned with he cost of the Innova Hycross that’s between ₹18.55 lakh and ₹29.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Invicto will likely offer the same engine options as the Innova Hycross. The latter features a 2.0-litre VVTi petrol engine. That delivers 174PS of maximum power and 205Nm of peak torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission. Additionally, the 2.0-litre VVTi petrol engine comes with a self-charging strong hybrid electric system. This hybrid setup produces a combined maximum power of 186PS, with the engine torque at 188Nm and the motor torque at 206Nm. Moreover, it gets an e-drive sequential shift transmission.
